Joplin Tornado Disaster Relief

The students of Runnymede School were blessed to have been able to participate in relief efforts after the devastating tornado in Joplin, MO last week. The first picture is of the eerie skies we had that evening at our place.

Haying at Pasture Nectar Farm

The boys spent a day baling hay a few weeks ago. You may notice an Amish gentleman or two in these pictures.

Ryan's Project

Each student at Runnymede has his own project that he works on throughout his stay. Ryan has chosen to build a bench. He is using wood from the property and is also using old-fashioned wood-working tools.

Bechard Family Farm Chicken Processing Day

The Bechard family raises and sells pastured poultry (along with many other items) on their farm in Conway, MO. The boys of Runnymede School went over for their first processing day of the season. This will be a regular outing this year that the boys will participate in. Of course, we also processed our own chickens here at Runnymede; we just forgot to get the camera out for that one!
